What better way to start the year than with a podcast episode?

Hello everyone!

In this blog post, I’m announcing the release of my latest podcast episode, in which I interviewed my good friend, Ziad Ghazi, about his latest movie called Rewind. The episode can be viewed here. I would say that this has been a long time coming, but this really does feel like a bit of an understatement…

This is an episode I recorded on April 20th, 2024, and I’m not sure I can fully explain the time gap between the episode’s recording and its publishing – at least not in any way that could be considered satisfactory – except to say that time really does seem to accelerate as you get older and it’s not always easy to juggle your responsibilities with your hobbies. But, as they say, better late than never!

In this episode, we discuss the movie itself, including its characters, music, and themes. We also talk about the Blu-ray box cover art, Ziad’s first two movies, the challenges of indie filmmaking, religion versus atheism, and at the end of the episode, we do some rapid-fire questions. I hope you’ll have as much fun listening to this conversation as I had having it!

I am told that Ziad is aiming for a release in February or March 2026, so stay tuned! We expect this episode to be released on disc and online (possibly YouTube), with a movie premiere potentially happening as well. I will update this blog post as more information becomes available.
